Multimedia Projectors Multimedia Projectors are currently used for displaying computer images (data) as well as video from a VCR or DVD player. Prices of projectors have dropped dramatically over the past several years as quality has gone up. Currently projectors start under $2000. The majority of projectors sold today (LCD, DLP, LCOS) use a single lens to project the images instead of three from the older and more setup intensive CRT. Overhead Projectors Overhead Projectors are used with transparencies to project information. The Overhead is still used in many K-12 school systems. With the pricing of computers and multimedia projectors today, many overhead projectors are being replaced with the multimedia projector. Governor Computer Products sells 3M overhead projectors and accessories. Slide Projectors Slide projectors are still used in some presentation systems. The Kodak Ektagraphic & Carousel projectors are used for normal projection to a screen. Navitar projectors can go directly to a video display device (TV, monitor, etc.)
